Sorrel Quarter Horse Mare

This 8-year-old grade sorrel mare (15.1hh, ~1000 lbs) is being sold on consignment out of Rogers, New Mexico, asking $8,500. She's spent the last 60 days getting tuned up and now walks, trots, lopes, stops, backs, turns both ways, rides off leg pressure, and is picking up neck reining. She's shown interest in working a cow, has been tracked on breakaway at a slow pace, and has some exposure to the barrel pattern, though all of these will need further development. On the ground she's easy, standing for saddling, bridling, mounting, bathing, fly spraying, brushing, and tying. She has a club foot that the seller says doesn't affect her, and she's working through rehab after a past bad trailer-loading experience, with reported tremendous progress. In the herd she's described as the boss mare. Photos show a solid-bodied chestnut mare with a blaze and hind socks/front sock, saddled and standing quietly in an outdoor pen.
