This policy explains how First Post Inc, a California corporation doing business as HorseBond ("HorseBond," "we," "us") collects and uses information when you use horsebond.com. HorseBond is a search engine that indexes horses advertised for sale across public sources and links back to the original listing. We are not the seller and are not a party to any transaction.

Information We Collect

• Usage & device data, pages viewed, searches run, approximate location, IP address, browser/device type, and cookie identifiers, collected only with your consent for analytics/advertising.
• Information you provide, if you contact us or submit a report/claim about a listing, the details you send (e.g. name, email, message).
• Listing data, facts about horses for sale (breed, price, location, pedigree, seller name) gathered from public advertisements. This describes horses and sellers, not visitors to this site.

Cookies & Your Choices

We use essential cookies required for the site to work, and (only after you opt in) analytics and advertising cookies. Nothing non-essential loads until you make a choice. You can change your choices any time via Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information / Cookie preferences in the footer. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals as an opt-out of the sale/sharing of personal information.

How We Use Information

• Operate, secure, and improve the site and search results.
• With consent, measure usage (Google Analytics) and run advertising and retargeting (e.g. Meta Pixel, Google Ads).
• Respond to your reports, claims, and inquiries.

Sharing & Service Providers

We share data with providers who run the service on our behalf: hosting and databases (Vercel, Supabase), AI features that summarize and organize listings (Anthropic), analytics (Google), and advertising (Meta, Google). Advertising cookies may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under California law; you can opt out at any time (see below). We do not sell the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16.

Payments

Buying a horse happens off-site, directly with the seller, so HorseBond does not process or receive payment for horse sales. Separately, HorseBond does charge for optional paid site features (such as subscriptions and promoting a listing). Those payments are handled by a third-party payment processor; First Post Inc (dba HorseBond)does not receive or store your full card number or bank details, and the processor's handling of that information is governed by its own privacy policy.

Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

California residents have the right to:

• Know and access the personal information we collect, and request a copy.
• Delete or correct personal information.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, use Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information / Cookie preferences or send a GPC signal.
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.

Data Retention & Security

We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and use reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.

Children

HorseBond is intended for adults 18 and older and is not directed to minors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and (consistent with California law) do not sell or share the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date.
