Effective July 18, 2026

These terms govern your use of horsebond.com, operated by First Post Inc, a California corporation doing business as HorseBond ("HorseBond," "we," "us"). By using the site you agree to them, including the binding arbitration and class-action waiver below.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use HorseBond. By using the site you represent that you are 18 or older and able to enter into these terms.

What HorseBond Is

HorseBond is a search engine and directory that indexes horses advertised for sale across public sources (classified sites, trainer and ranch websites, social media) and links back to the original listing. We are not the seller, broker, agent, or a party to any sale. We do not host the horse-sale transactions, take payment for horses, or guarantee any horse, price, seller, or listing.

No Warranty on Listing Information

Listing details are gathered from third-party sources and may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or already sold. We summarize and normalize information but do not verify it. Confirm everything, health, soundness, price, ownership, registration, directly with the seller and through your own due diligence (including a pre-purchase vet exam) before any purchase. Use of any listing is at your own risk.

Sellers & Listing Owners

If a listing concerns your horse and you want it corrected or removed, use the report/claim tools on the listing or contact support@horsebond.com. We honor reasonable removal requests. We aim to show only horses with recent evidence of being for sale and remove those that appear sold or withdrawn.

Acceptable Use

• Don't scrape, harvest, or bulk-copy the site, or use it to build a competing dataset.
• Don't misrepresent yourself, harass sellers, or use the site for fraud or unlawful purposes.
• Don't attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems.

Third-Party Links

The site links out to original listings and other third-party sites we don't control. We're not responsible for their content, availability, or practices, and your dealings with sellers are solely between you and them.

Payments

Searching HorseBondis free. Horses are bought and paid for directly with the seller, off-site, we don't process those payments. Separately, HorseBond does sell optional paid site features (such as subscriptions and promoting a listing); those are handled by a third-party payment processor subject to its own terms, and First Post Inc (dba HorseBond) does not store your full payment card or bank details. Any applicable fees will be disclosed before you incur them.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, First Post Inc is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from a listing, a seller, or a transaction. If First Post Inc is ever found responsible to you for anything connected to the site, the most we would have to pay you, in total, is USD $100.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify First Post Inc against claims arising from your misuse of the site or violation of these terms.

Binding Arbitration & Class-Action Waiver

Please read this carefully, it affects how disputes are resolved. You and First Post Inc agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to HorseBond or these terms will be resolved by final and binding arbitration on an individual basis, administered by a recognized arbitration provider under its consumer rules, seated in Riverside County, California, rather than in court. You and First Post Inc waive any right to a jury trial and to participate in a class, collective, or representative action. Either party may still bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property or prevent unauthorized access. If the class-action waiver is found unenforceable, the rest of this section still applies. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these terms by emailing support@horsebond.com with your name and a statement that you opt out.

Changes & Governing Law

We may update these terms; continued use means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to the arbitration section above, any dispute not subject to arbitration will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Riverside County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
