Roan Quarter Horse Gelding

Ranch-raised 7-year-old grade (unpapered) Quarter Horse roan gelding standing 15 hands, located in Edgewood, NM. The seller purchased him from a rancher who reportedly used him for roping, and has mainly used him as a pack horse, noting he handles having gear thrown on and has a quiet disposition overall, though he can crow hop occasionally and "will test you." He walks, trots, lopes with a decent turn and stop. He has an old front-left leg injury believed to be from wire as a colt that the seller says doesn't limit him and doesn't interfere with shoeing, though photos show some roughness/cracking in that hoof. Priced at $6,000, with the seller open to offers and trades. Photos show him saddled with pack/trail gear in rocky and forested terrain, consistent with trail and ranch use.

Has an old injury to the front left leg/foot, believed caused by wire when he was a colt. Seller states it doesn't bother him and he holds a shoe fine. Photos show a cracked/rough front hoof.
