BC Highhickoryflair is a 2018 red roan AQHA mare, 14.3hh, being sold by her owner in Chaffee, NY due to the cost of keeping her over winter. She's up to date on shots, coggins, worming and farrier, loads and ties, and has been high-lined on weekend trail rides. Broke out at age 4, she's served as the owner's go-to horse and has done mounted security work at the Erie County Fair for the past two years, handling gunfire, fireworks, and flares calmly; she's also helped start about five colts as a babysitter horse. She carries the sensitive temperament typical of Hancock-bred mares, can be a bit hot at the start of a ride after standing, and needs a lip twitch for vet work, but the seller reports no bucking, rearing, or mareish behavior.
