Alvin

Alvin is a 5-year-old red roan gelding standing 14.3 hands, sold grade (seller states he's out of registered AQHA stock whose breeder never submitted papers). Used for the past six months as a working ranch horse (roping and doctoring cattle, sorting, loading, gathering) and started heeling steers, he previously spent time as a teenage playday mount and knows the barrel pattern. Under saddle he walks, trots, and canters comfortably, spins and pivots on both haunches, backs in the bridle, and is described as sure-footed and unbothered on trails through water, logs, tarps, and traffic. The seller calls him easy to catch, good for the farrier, a good loader, and vice-free, noting only a healed scar on his right hind leg from a cut sustained while in their care. He's offered as a fit for ranch work, versatility/ranch classes, trail riding, parades, or a youth rider building a versatility horse.

No vices reported. Has a scar on his right hind leg from a cut he received while with the current owner, but reportedly stood well for doctoring and healed without issue.
