Smoothie

Smoothie is a 9-year-old black Quarter Horse gelding, 15 hands, consigned through CS Performance Horses out of Graham, Texas and offered at auction. He's described as a seasoned, well-rounded ranch gelding: solid on cattle work (used to drag calves in the branding pen), a dependable breakaway roping horse with a big stop, and good through an obstacle course including water, bridges, downfall and brush. He's reportedly quiet and easy-minded, handles well on the trail, stands for mounting, bathing, loading and the farrier, and is suited equally to serious ranch/rope work or a relaxed family trail ride. The listing photo shows him tacked up in a ranch saddle with breast collar and a dark, well-muscled build.
