John Wayne

John Wayne is a 2016 roan Quarter Horse gelding, 14.3 hands, standing at auction through Legacy Horse Sales out of Stillwater, Oklahoma. He's a true all-around ranch horse, used by a 72-year-old owner to rope and doctor cattle, load trucks, and handle general ranch work, while also doubling as a family mount for trails, parades, and playdays. The seller describes him as consistent even after time off, with no bucking, spooking, or funny business, and calls him 100% sound, gentle, and easy to catch and handle. With his flaxen mane and roan coat he's noted for eye appeal as well as a dependable mind.

Described as 100% sound.
