El Senor Red

El Senor Red is a 2012 AQHA sorrel stallion by Mister Dual Pep and out of Chics Merlot, consigned to the Corsica Horse Sale LLC Fall Performance Sale on September 12 in Corsica, SD. He carries 147.5 AQHA Amateur performance points and 80 Open points, with a standout run from 2019-2025 that includes a 2022 AQHA World Championship Ranch Riding title won by a 10-point margin, plus finals appearances in reining, ranch riding, and ranch trail, and placings in the ranch rail in both Open and Amateur. The seller describes him as needing little to no preparation before a show, competitive everywhere he goes, and consistently sound: their veterinarian has checked him every six months for six or seven years without finding an issue. He's described as bombproof, foolproof to ride, and passing on his try and easygoing disposition to his offspring; his tail is natural and untouched. Photos show a well-muscled sorrel with a wide blaze, flaxen-tinged mane, and white socks/stockings, plus show photos from AQHA World Championship appearances.
