Dolly

Dolly is a 2015 grulla Quarter Horse mare, 15 hands and about 1200 lbs, consigned through Legacy Horse Sales / CS Performance Horses out of Graham, Texas and being sold at auction. The listing describes her as a genuine all-around ranch mare: ridden in the arena, down trails, and out working cattle, exposed to kids, strollers, dogs, and general farm commotion. She's reportedly steady at the walk, trot, and lope in both directions, rides one-handed, drags a barrel or log, tracks and ropes cattle (including out of the box), sorts cows, ties quietly, and crosses creeks and bridges without fuss. She is also said to be finished on barrels at a controlled, rateable speed suitable for a youth or adult rider. No vices are mentioned. The photo shows a well-muscled grulla mare with a dark mane and tail, dressed in a saddle with a turquoise show pad, standing calmly for the picture.
