Jrhaypatchfernrocket (Dolly)

Dolly is a 16-hand, 1300 lb registered 2013 AQHA palomino mare who has been with her current owners since age two and has spent her life doing real work: hauling pack strings for outfitters through Colorado's rugged Weminuche Wilderness, including 30-mile days in the mountains. She's also been used for ranch work, tracking the dummy and roping live cattle from calves to steers, and is described as enjoyable in the arena as well, having been patterned on barrels and poles with 1D-3D placings when campaigned (though she hasn't been entered in several years). She hobbles, high-lines, and loads easily, and in 2025 she raised a palomino colt with an easy pregnancy and birth, showing her value as a broodmare. Dolly is current on shots, wormer, teeth and feet, has good dark feet, and is easy for the farrier. She's a capable, well-bred mare (by MP Haypatch Tiger, grandsired by PC Frenchmans Hayday) suited to a confident, experienced rider rather than a beginner or young child. The photos show a sturdy, correct palomino mare with a flaxen mane and tail, tacked up western and ridden calmly both in an arena setting and out on wooded trails.
