Ranger

Ranger is a 5-year-old, 15.2 hand, 1300 lb bay roan Draft Cross gelding based in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky. The listing describes him as an extensively trail-proven horse who confidently crosses creeks and rivers, climbs steep or rocky terrain, pushes through brush and mud, and stays unbothered by wildlife, traffic, machinery, and other trail obstacles, whether leading, following, or riding alone. He is described as one-hand broke, neck reins, moves off the leg, backs willingly, and lopes soft, collected circles, with an easy stop. Beyond trail work, he has been used for ranch chores including gathering and sorting cattle, checking pasture and fence lines, and opening gates, and he also performs tricks such as lying down and sitting up on command. The seller states he has been ridden extensively by their own children and is safe for riders of any level, including grandma. He is offered by Adams Horse and Mule Co, a business that has sold horses online since 2005, with transportation available nationwide.
