A Silver Dollar ("Silver") is an 8-year-old grey AQHA gelding, 14.0 hh and about 1,100 lbs, consigned by Longhorn Ranch in Paicines, CA through the Platinum Equine Auction (bidding open through August 30, 2026). He has genuine ranch miles: gathering and sorting cattle, brandings, fence checking, and covering rough country, plus arena work with a good stop, both leads, neck reining, and exposure to flags, tarps, bridges, and obstacles. He's described as a standout trail horse, sure-footed over rocks, water, and brush, calm alone or in a group, and unbothered by wildlife, traffic, or bikes. On the ground he ties, loads, hauls, bathes, and stands for the farrier. The seller markets him as suitable for riders of any experience level, from beginners to experienced horsemen, with a temperament rated a 1 (very calm) on their own scale.
