Smooth N Malicious (Sniper)

Sniper (registered Smooth N Malicious) is a 4-year-old red roan AQHA gelding standing 14.1 hands, based in Bozeman, Montana. He's by Metallic Malice, a sire whose offspring have earned over $691,000, out of Smooth at Noon, an NCHA money earner, and Sniper himself is an NRCHA money earner in both Non-Pro and Open divisions. Trained and shown as a reined cow horse, the seller feels he'd do just as well or better as a rope horse: he's already being started out of the box and tracks cattle well. Described as calm, confident, and cowy with a temperament rated 2 out of 10, he's reportedly easy enough for novice kids to ride while still having the talent and style for open or non-pro competition. He's said to load himself, stand well for the farrier, and be generally hassle-free around the barn. Photos show a clean-built roan gelding under saddle, being ridden by a child, and working a cow in the pen.
