Heza Strait Spider

Heza Strait Spider ("Spider") is a 2023 APHA solid-black colt out of Fischer Farms Too in Wagner, SD, sticking around 14.1 hands and expected to finish near 14.2. He's sired by the noted paint stallion Strait From Texas, who died in 2006 with only three semen doses remaining, making Spider one of just four foals born from him since. His dam Peptoakspoonful is a daughter of Hes A Peptospoonful. Two videos show him under saddle on a third ride and moving freely in the pen; photos show a correct, well-muscled black colt with a hind sock. The breeder notes she prioritizes mind, conformation, and cow-working athleticism over color, and although the tobiano gene didn't come through on this one, she considers him a strong representative of her breeding program.
