Chip is an April 2025 AQHA grullo stud colt out of Paris, Missouri, bred by the seller from their stallion Steel Waters and home-bred mare AA Blackburn Pip. He's about 95% NFQHA foundation bred and is double homozygous for black and dun, meaning every foal he sires will be grullo or dun. He's had DNA testing, 7-panel genetic testing (negative by parentage), and color testing (E/E, a/a, D/D) completed through AQHA, and the paperwork is all in hand for a turnkey sale. The seller describes him as correct and well put together with solid bone and a nice head, expected to mature around 14.2 hands and resemble his sire with more bone and substance. He's being offered as a breeding and performance prospect, with photos showing a grullo colt with strong dorsal striping and leg barring grazing in pasture.
