Lot 1 in the 2026 Legend Buttes Catalog Sale (Crawford, Nebraska, September 19), this 2025 AQHA bay roan filly, called Bella, is a daughter of the $17 million sire Once In A Blu Boon out of Miss Placed Pistol, a Playgun mare whose first foal made the Am NCHA Futurity Finals and whose 2nd dam earned $77,000 and produced over $50,000. The breeder describes her as having the bone and substance of a Playgun with the cow and ability expected of a Blu Boon, suited to a cutting, cow horse, or roping futurity prospect. She's home-raised, gentle, easy to catch and handle, and reportedly will be easy to start; x-rays taken this week came back clean. Photos show a correct, well-grown roan filly with a black mane and tail and a star on her face, standing in pasture.
