2018 bay Paint geldingWaynesboro, TNPlatinum Equine Auction
Invite Slick Rick ("Slick Rick") is an 8-year-old APHA bay tobiano gelding, 15 hands and about 1,150-1,200 lbs, consigned to the Platinum Equine Auction out of Waynesboro, Tennessee. The consignor has owned him since he was 2 and describes a genuinely handy, low-key horse (temperament rated 1 of 10) who can be caught, saddled, and ridden by anyone from a green beginner to an advanced rider. He's reported to walk/trot/lope on cue, spin both ways, side pass, do flying lead changes, and stop well, neck reins one-handed, and will ride in nearly any bridle. Beyond arena skills he's been used to pony and lunge colts, push and sort cattle, rope a few head and the sled, work the cutting flag, and cross all types of trail obstacles; he also loads and hauls well. He carries an old, vet-certified cosmetic scar on a front hoof from an injury at age 2, with a letter available on request, and is otherwise said to be current on routine care. Final sale price will be set by auction bidding, open through August 30, 2026, with a PPE available at buyer's expense during the sale.
