2023 palomino Quarter Horse geldingSisters, ORAlissa Jensen
Tuna is a 3-year-old AQHA gelding (Chex Dunn Dun It), a palomino standing about 15hh, out of Sisters, Oregon. The trainer-owner describes him as lightly started (backed as a 2-year-old), soft under saddle, and untroubled by time off: he can sit for months and pick right back up with no buck or drama. He's described as extremely people-oriented and easy-going, good with other horses, ties, loads, bathes, and stands well for the farrier, with no known vices and no history of lameness. He had a "cauliflower ear" injury as a youngster that was surgically corrected and is now only minimally noticeable. The seller sees him as a prospect for heeling or reined cow horse work given his talent and temperament, but no video is currently available. Asking price is coded as "low xx,xxx," and the seller would consider a partial trade for a weanling AQHA filly with reining or cow horse bloodlines, or a deal if the buyer keeps him in training.
Never been lame. Had a "cauliflower ear" injury as a youngster and has since had cosmetic surgery on the ear; seller says it's not hugely noticeable now.
