Churro

Churro is a 4 year old AQHA roan gelding standing 14.1 and weighing 1075 pounds, located near Santa Nella, California, and priced at $20,000. He has spent over a year as a family ranch horse, gathering and moving cattle on steep terrain, roping and doctoring outside, working in the branding pen, and sorting, all with a calm, willing mind and good footwork. He has shown in ranch riding and ranch trail, handling the show pen and new obstacles without fuss, and stands quietly tied or waiting at the gate. He is easy to catch and handle, good for the farrier and vet, current on vaccines/deworming/dentistry, and has no vices or injuries, though he currently has some swelling (no lameness) from a ding on the outside right front fetlock. He has good feet, having gone barefoot for most of a year before recently being shod, and his owners note he rides out alone reasonably well though he's a touch quicker to head home solo, a trait expected to improve with more miles. Multiple videos show him working cattle, being ridden by kids, and loping out in the arena, consistent with the laid-back, do-it-all description in the text.

Current on vaccines, deworming, and dentistry. No vices, quirks, or injuries noted, though he currently has a ding on the outside of the right front fetlock with some swelling but no lameness. Good feet, went barefoot for most of a year and was only recently shod; could likely go barefoot again in less rocky terrain.
